Step by Step Instructions

Step 1:

To make the lavender syrup combine the sugar, lavender buds, and water In a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Allow the lavender to steep in the syrup for 30 minutes. Then, strain out and discard the buds, reserving the infused syrup.

Step 2:

Add the lemon sugar rim to the martini glass by combining the sugar and lemon zest on a shallow plate. Dip the rim of your glass into lemon juice or swipe a lemon wedge around the rim of your glass. Tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle and gently dip the rim into the lemon-sugar mixture, rotating until it’s evenly coated all the way around

Step 3:

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and lavender syrup.
Secure the lid and shake vigorously until the shaker is icy cold, about 10 to 20 seconds.
Strain into your prepared, rimmed glass.

Garnish with a sprig of lavender or a lemon, if desired. Enjoy!
